In a modern first, the 2012 Democratic National Convention will not accept any corporate donations at all, with the intended goal of “increasing the influence of grassroots and individual donors.” It’s safe to assume the Republican National Convention will not follow suit.
Sure, but the DNC shouldn’t complain about ‘corporate’ dictatorship of any party, because they’re all slaves to the labour unions. They just don’t count as ‘corporations’. It’s all the same. Plus, that just further exemplifies Democrats’ disdain for honest businessmen who keep the economy running and preference for greedy unionists who use intimidation on their members and clients. (Sounds like union members and immoral Wall Street bankers are the same, so this article and statement is moot.)
